Terry Ashkinos has been a fixture in the Bay Area scene for well over a decade. Terry's current projects, Fake Your Own Death and El Terrible, were born out of songs from Ashkinos' former band Elephone. Terry's current projects take a more unapologetic approach to pop songs; never afraid to be honest, but also dangerous at the same time. Terry has shared the stage with The Warlocks, You Say Party We Say Die, !!!, Film School, Bob Mould, Gang Of Four, Dengue Fever, and Dungen just to name a few.

Press for Terry Ashkinos
- SF Weekly-"While the band's sound sports a melodic-morose shimmer-and-fade vibe reminiscent of Interpol, Ashkinos' gradually deepening voice takes cues from not only Paul Banks but the Hold Steady's Craig Finn and (to a lesser extent) Robert Smith."-Reyan Ali
Boing Boing - "San Francisco's noise pop trio released their long-awaited full-length today and it's a doozy of deep, energized postpunk. Titled "What Rough Beast," the new album accelerates past the raw spareness of their debut EP, Cut, speeding deeper into the complex literary darkness that's become Terry's home territory.
